🎨 New Workshops from Kanders Ceramics!

Come get creative with us in a relaxed, welcoming studio where there’s always something new happening! Our workshops change monthly, giving you the chance to explore a wide range of creative outlets and mediums throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to get your hands in clay, experiment with printmaking, or try a new surface design technique, there’s always a fresh opportunity to jump in and make something.

We’re especially excited about our ceramics offerings. From beginner-friendly hand-building to more detailed projects, our clay workshops focus not just on form, but on beautiful surface decoration for ceramics. You’ll explore carving, texture, layering with slips and underglazes, stamping, and other decorative techniques that bring your pieces to life. It’s all about creating work that feels personal, expressive, and uniquely yours.

Beyond ceramics, our rotating workshops may include gel printing, printmaking, stained glass, and other surface decoration-focused classes. In gel printing sessions, you’ll play with layers of color, stencils, stamps, and texture tools to create one-of-a-kind prints full of depth and detail. Printmaking workshops offer hands-on exploration of pattern, composition, and mixed media techniques.

Offerings vary each month, so there’s always something new to discover. Whether you want to build skills, try a different medium, or simply enjoy a creative escape, our studio is a fun and supportive place to explore it all.

Join us at and spend some time connecting with art, community, and your creative side — all while having a lot of fun (and maybe getting a little messy)!  Location for all workshops:  Spring Art Studios, located at 1464 Spring Street SE, Building 200.
